GAP is for children ages 5 – 12 and is held every Saturday. The goal is to provide activities that will expose the children to a variety of experiences that will expand their horizons. There is no charge for children to attend on Saturdays and there is no charge for the trips and/or events. Also, lunch is always provided. The program includes activities such as:

  • Bible lessons

  • Arts & crafts

  • Games

  • Movies

  • Trips

    • Museums

    • Theme Parks

    • Artistic venues (ballet, opera, etc.)

    • Historical locations

    • Sporting events

  • Summer Day Camp

  • Workshops

  • Guest speakers

Additionally, the children are taught the importance of becoming active within their communities. They are taught that regardless of their age, there are numerous ways in which they can become involved in service. One of the major ways they are encouraged to serve is through service projects. These service projects cover a wide range of themes and are used to show the children that their presence is not only valuable but very needed.
